BSC wish to pass their congratulations to Jeremy and Henry Landon who have recently been selected for the RS Feva Class National Squad.

They started their journey in 2018 at the RYA Regional Junior Championships where they were selected for the East and London South East Regional Feva Zone Squad, which involved a weekend’s sailing a month over the winter (assisted by Robert Weir when Henry broke his arm). Earlier this year the Landons competed at various regattas including the Spring Championships, the Inland Championships, the Nationals, the RYA Eric Twiname Championships and the Worlds in Follonica, Italy in July (where they were the only regional squad boat to sail in the silver rather than bronze fleet).

This autumn the boys have been competing in the Grand Prix events which are the toughest UK competitions, with all the national squads out in force. Their strong performance at these events now sees them ranked at the top of the regional squad and has resulted in their national squad selection.

We will be following (and updating on) their progress closely
