Bembridge Sailing Dinghy Club

The Bembridge Sailing Dinghy Club (BSDC) caters for our members aged between 8 and 17.
Run by a Captain and Committee of volunteers, largely drawn from parents with children of cadet age, they have responsibility for the many activities both on and off water.

Our training programme has been designed to encourage all members, especially new and younger members, to try out the wide range of boats at BSC and also to enhance or expand their sailing skills.
Please note it is not necessary to own a boat, the aim is to encourage members to come forward and join in.

Cadet training has been configured in a new format where courses are a blend of seven 3-Day Sessions.
These Sessions can be combined to run consecutively providing the feel of Cadet Weeks in times past.
For variety we are offering a Big Boat Sailing Experience on an off-shore racing yacht from Cowes, and Supported Sailing will again be run during the May and October Half-Term holidays.
