The BSC Race Management Team operates throughout the year. We rely on members offering their time to act as Race Officers, Assistant Race Officers and Mark Layers.
Training is provided which will explain starting procedures, race courses and the fleets we sail here at the Club. Whilst this training is free of charge, we do ask that you volunteer for at least two duties each year.
We welcome all members regardless of experience and this is a fun way to be involved with the sailing activities at the Club. Don’t be daunted, at the beginning you will be paired with an experienced Race Officer until you are comfortable running a race.
